Superboy #25 Krypton Returns Part 2 Spoilers: Which Surprising Kryptonian Joins All-New Eradicator, Clones & H’el As Superman Family Foes? (DC Comics New 52 In Review)

News, Spoilers

Spoilers follow.

Superboy #25 marks chapter 2 of Krypton Returns that began in Action Comics Annual #2 where Superman, Supergirl and Superboy had to travel to three different time periods in Krypton’s past to reverse the reality fabric threatening actions of the villain H’el.

In Superboy #25, the preview of the issue (first two pages below) debuts the new Eradicator who battles Superboy in his Kryptonian time period while he protects a pre-Supergirl Kara Zor-el. This Eradicator is a huge departure from his 1990s incarnation and even his more recent pre-Flashpoint self. Is the final fate of the new Eradicator firm as seen in the issue (third page below)?

Superboy seems to use his tactile telekinesis to kill the Eradicator via the technology of Krypton.

In the issue, we also have Supergirl’s journey in another time in Krypton’s past battling clones and culminating with a familiar foe: H’el; which isn’t a huge surprise. I imagine H’el’s other selves (from his timeline incursions) will show up to battle Superboy and Superman before Krypton Returns ends.

We also have Superman in a different time in Krypton’s past battling the brilliant Kryptonian Warrior…. his mom! Superman’s mom’s fighting credentials were well established during Villains Month afterall when she fought and survived… Doomsday.

Looks like mom still has a soft side too.
