Patrick Cote and Kyle Noke have been tabbed for the second “nation vs. nation” international season as coaches and their teams have been announced. The season, which will air on Fox Sports 1 in January, had its cast list released to the public.
Cote’s team: Olivier Aubin-Mercier, Matthew Desroches, Kajan Johnson and Chad Laprise at welterweight
Luke Harris, Nordine Taleb, Elias Theodorou and Sheldon Westcott at middleweight
Noke’s team: Chris Indich, Jake Matthews, Brendan O’Reilly and Richard Walsh at welterweight
Vik Grujic, Daniel Kelly, Tyler Manawaroa and Zein Saliba at middleweight.
This is an interesting field for a “TUF: Nations” cast as the best of Tri-Star who haven’t fought in the UFC yet are on Cote’s team. Noke has an older, more veteran team for the most part but some solid (if unpolished) prospects make up the latest Team Australia.
