Daniel Bryan vs Fandango

<- Nice of the WWE to start the show with a match tonight. With all of the hype for the Slammy’s, it was getting a little dicey there for a while.

<- Superstar of the Year? How can anyone but Daniel Bryan win?

<- That’s was a good showing from both Bryan and Fandango. Bryan’s new running knee reminds me so much of Sweet Chin Music it’s insane. I just hope it catches on as well as that one little kick did.

<- Another great promo from Bray Wyatt and the perfect one to lead into the PPV. Fantastic crowd here tonight.

“LOL!” Moment of the Year Slammy

<- I don’t know what it is about the New Age Outlaws but they really are one of my favorite tag team acts of all-time.

<- I never saw the video of the Santino’s “Cobra-charming” but that was pretty good. Still had to go with the Rock Concert though.

<- I like the idea of holding matches in-between as well. Maybe the night won’t drag as long as in past years.

Damien Sandow vs Santino

<- Well at least Damien Sandow didn’t lose to Santino.

<- I think Santino’s Cobra should have come out too sullen to perform since he didn’t win the Slammy.

<- Good stare down between the champ (Big E) & the #1 contender. When was the last time you saw any development in an Intercontinental Championship feud?

Double-Cross Of The Year Slammy

<- Shouldn’t everyone have voted for Triple H since it’s literally set up every main event for the last 6 months?

<- How many people wanted to see The Shield triple-powerbomb Shawn Michaels through the podium?

<- If HBK should win this award for anything, it should be for Montreal, not for Hell In A Cell.

Kofi Kingston vs The Miz

<- Did this feud really need to take place in order to re-establish Miz as a heel? Just hand him a mic. I really didn’t need to see their “paint-by-numbers” mid-card match for the hundredth time.

Diva Of The Year Slammy

<- How hysterical would it be if Eva Marie won this Slammy?

<- HA! Gotta love how the arena is booing the Bellas off the stage. So badly that the WWE had to start their music early.

Big Show, Cody Rhodes, Goldust & Rey Mysterio vs The Real Americans & Rybaxel

<- Did I really just type “Rybaxel”?

<- How has there not an honorary Slammy award for Comeback Of The Year strictly for Goldust/Dustin Rhodes? The man is a freak of nature (in more ways than one) and deserves everything good that is coming to him right now.

<- So apparently Goldust did win a Slammy. The “You Still Got It” (Best Superstar Return) award beating out Chris Jericho, Rob Van Dam, The Bella Twins and Bruno Sammartino. You’d think that would be something they mentioned during the match he was featured in.

Superstar of the Year Slammy

<- The ONLY person I see beating out Daniel Bryan here is CM Punk & that’s purely on popularity.

<- Well… this is awkward.

<- Good Lord, what a horrible new t-shirt for Daniel Bryan.

Sin (Hunico) Cara vs Alberto Del Rio

<- I love the fact that the WWE had to issue a statement as to why Sin Cara is no longer played by Mistico.

<- I do hate that the horrible “Sin Cara Lighting” is back.

<- Del Rio again? This is Hunico! We know he can work with other people!

<- Another clean win for Sin Cara over Alberto Del Rio?! They must be loving the fact that they can go full throttle with the Sin Cara character now. Although a win over ADR now doesn’t do THAT much.

Fan Participation Slammy

<- Well I hope everyone saw that win coming.

Brodus Clay vs Xavier Woods

<- This might have done it’s job at turning Brodus Clay heel but did nothing for a very young and talented rookie that has a bright future in the WWE.

<- Oh and Brodus Clay is a main-event player? Than I should win a Slammy for just sitting through this show.

Insult of the Year Slammy

<- While I wasn’t the biggest fan, AJ Lee’s “Pipebombshell” owns this hands down.

<- Why do I feel like this was just a way to get Stephanie McMahon on TV before the final segment?

CM Punk vs Dean Ambrose

<- I’m surprised I still have an internet connection after this match was announced.

<- You know what, Sunday’s handicap match against the Shield might not be half bad. I’ve seen CM Punk pull off some pretty damn good matches in worse situations.

<- If Punk truly has bruised or cracked ribs, WWE NEEDS to get him off of the road soon if they want to keep him on the roster. He’s proven before that he’ll walk at a moment’s notice and too many injuries could be that catalyst.

<- These two look like they’ve been in the ring together for years, not weeks or months.

<- Very good match and I loved the tension between The Shield members. Are we going to see an Ambrose-Rollins/Reigns split Sunday?

Extreme Moment of the Year Slammy

<- How tame the word “extreme” has become…

<- Please, with the option we had to choose from this was just a popularity contest. Wait, most of WWE is a popularity contest.

<- Line of the night: “I feel weird accepting any award not wearing pants.” – CM Punk

The Usos vs The Wyatt Family

<- I love seeing the Usos featured on TV, even if it’s at the expense of the Family.

<- Very good tag team match where the Usos didn’t lose too much in the clean loss. Damn, Harper’s clothesline is going to start to rival JBL’s soon.

Match Of The Year Slammy

<- I may be partial but I don’t see anything topping The Undertaker vs CM Punk at WrestleMania 29. Except for maybe the Rhodes Family vs The Shield. That was absolutely a phenomenal match.

<- So there’s actually people out there in the world that think John Cena is a good wrestler. At least none of them are in Seattle. Awful choice and honestly I hope it was rigged.

Natalya vs Tamina

<- Short and sweet giving Nattie a clean win before her Diva’s title match at the PPV.

Championship Ascension Ceremony

<- HA! First they try to placate the crowd & then they just bust out at “YES!” chant. Great crowd!

<- Love the custom ladder match belt holder for this match. Its something small but it makes this match stand out.

<- I actually really liked the history that Randy Orton brought into his promo. It added a lot of depth to why he wants to be the champion.

<- Ah John Cena going for the cheap pop by bringing Daniel Bryan to the forefront.

<- The visual of The Authority standing with John Cena was a perfect way to end this show. Sure it might all be a setup and The Authority will say that “fooled us all” if Orton captures the title with their help but it was a good way to plant a seed of doubt in the minds of people who assumed Randy Orton was going to win this match no matter what.

<- Also did anyone notice that CM Punk took out HHH, Shawn Michaels superkicked CM Punk and then Daniel Bryan hit HBK with the running knee? Am I the only one that is wishing on a star for a DX vs Bryan/Punk match at WrestleMania? I know it probably won’t happen but sometimes wishes come true…
