TSN in Canada is reporting, via an interview on “Off the Record” with Michael Landsberg and the two division contender, that Chael Sonnen apparently had surgery shortly before his fight with Rashad Evans at UFC 167.
Landsberg got his information from a source and Sonnen neither confirmed nor denied it.
“It’s a little bit of a surprise that you had that information,” Sonnen state.
Sonnen would lose to Evans via 1st round TKO.
“When I sign a contract to fight, I’m agreeing to fight a guy on a certain day at a certain time and in a certain venue,” he stated. “It’s my job to feel good when I go out and do it and if I don’t that may play a hand in the fight.”
