Welcome fight fights to our UFC 168 live play by play and results. For this last fight card of the year we’re going to try and do something different by giving each fight its own blog post, to make it easier to read and follow.

Dennis Siver vs. Manvel Gamburyan
Round 1: Manny comes out more aggressive to start and he wants to throw down. Siver is throwing kicks to the lead leg as Manny looks to get to the clinch. Siver with the takedown as Gamburyan is looking to grab an armbar from bottom. He can’t complete it though as Siver is defending well and squares back up. Gamburyan rolls for a leg lock, wild scramble and we’re back to our feet. Siver is throwing to gauge distance right now. Siver is throwing a lot but not landing much. Gamburyan isn’t doing much but is trying to throw big power shots. Some wild exchanges from these two as Siver is throwing a TON. Gamburyan with a double and Siver into an open full guard. Manny rolls for a leglock but Siver lands some big shots from top. Siver has back and Manny stands up, one arm trapped in the body lock. Manny’s carrying his weight and is eating some big shots right now. Round ends this way. 10-9 Siver
Round 2: Siver tags Manny early with a leg kick. He’s landing some big kicks right now. Manny with a single and gets it a minute in. Siver in open full guard as Siver is tying his arms up. Manny isn’t doing much as Siver is working for a stand up. He lands a nice short elbow but Siver’s doing a good job controlling his posture. An elbow opens up Siver as he passes to half guard. Siver with the sweep and we’re back standing. He’s bleeding profusely though. Manny is starting to throw more kicks now as his output is increasing. He’s not landing much but he’s throwing more. Siver with a nice combination to the body as Gamburyan is in deep on a body lock, drops to a double and gets the takedown. Siver is trying to wall walk his way back up as Gamburyan pounds him on the ground until the round ends. Gamburyan 10-9, 19-19
Round 3: Manny comes in with a spinning back fist and Siver lands some nice shots. Siver’s starting to pump the left hook now as Gamburyan is keeping that right hand low. Nut shot 56 seconds in and we’ve got a break. Siver with a double leg and he’s got the takedown, Manny is trying to work a kimura from his back as he eats some shots to the body. He’s really working that kimura right now as Siver defends it. Manny gives it up and Siver grabs his back, both hooks in as Manny is trying to scramble his way out. He’s looking for the RNC but Manny is doing a great job playing defense. Manny is playing the hand fighting game well and trying to spin his way out but can’t as Siver is tight on his back. One minute left and Manny is doing his best to try and get out. Siver is making him eat a ton of punishment though. He’s really working for the RNC right now but Manny is defending well. Siver is landing en masse as the round ends. 10-9 Siver, 29-28 Siver
