Welcome fight fights to our UFC 168 live play by play and results. For this last fight card of the year we’re going to try and do something different by giving each fight its own blog post, to make it easier to read and follow.

Robbie Peralta vs. Estevan Payan
Round 1: Not much to start as both guys aren’t doing much. Peralta with a big left and gets a clinch, takedown and in half guard. He’s not doing much on top and Payan works his way back standing. Peralta with the clinch against the cage as both guys are exchanging knees. Peralta with another takedown and he’s back on top, landing in half guard. Payan is trying to work his way back standing and Peralta swept from bottom as he tries to go to mount. Payan in side control and he’s working some elbows. Peralta is trying to muscle up but Payan is doing a good job keeping him there. He’s landing some nice elbows from side control. He’s landing some nice shots on top and Peralta works his way back to his feet as the round ends. Payan 10-9
Round 2: Both guys come out throwing down as Peralta is looking to throw big and get the takedown. Payan is doing a better job this round managing distance as he’s countering Peralta’s wild hooks. He’s not throwing a lot of setups, mainly just winging big shots. Payan is landing some big counters in exchange. Peralta gets inside and Payan gets the takedown. He’s in half guard and he’s landing some big elbows from top. Peralta works his way back up and we’re back standing. Peralta grabs the body clinch and we’re back against the cage, working. Not much is happening as both guys are working the cage clinch game. Payan 10-9, 20-18
Round 3: Peralta comes out swinging and catches Payan. Payan goes down and he starts tagging him. Ref steps in and it’s over.
