Rob Van Dam made a return to WWE at the Money in the Bank 2013 PPV losing in the Raw Money in the Bank match. He remained in WWE for several months in the Fall and his short-term contract is now up.
RVD’s first match since his latest WWE stint has been booked. Van Dam will be working on an indie show promoted by Booker T on January 11, 2014 in Houston Texas.
No word on whether RVD will be returning to WWE in 2014. It remains possible that he will be a surprise entrant in the 2014 Royal Rumble, or make an appearance in a match at Wrestlemania 30.
