WWE has apparently decided to factor Daniel Bryan into Wrestlemania 30 in a big way.
After Daniel Bryan turned back babyface on the Wyatt Family last week on Raw, the crowd erupted with synchronized “Yes” chants. Due to this, Vince McMahon has reportedly gotten onto the D-Bryan bandwagon, and is said to be “very high” on Bryan as a result.
WWE is now hope to have a major moment at Wrestlemania 30 where 75,000 fans chant “yes” in unison. What match or segment this will occur during is still being finalized.
There was talk of having a Rey Mysterio vs. Sin Cara match, with fans all wearing a lucha mask, but this idea has been scrapped for this year’s show.
One reason for the newfound backing of Daniel Bryan is the steam that the YES! chant has gained at sporting events, such as this Michigan State basketball game that got coverage on ESPN with a mention of Daniel Bryan:
