How did the Ultimate Warrior’s unlikely WWE return come to pass?
The Ultimate Warrior will be returning to WWE in time for Wrestlemania 30 and the 2014 Hall of Fame.
This deal came to pass beginning this summer. HHH met with Warrior in July on the day that 2K Sports announced the Warrior as a playable character in WWE 2K14. It was the first meeting between WWE executives and Warrior since 1996.
Later, Vince McMahon had a meeting with Warrior in LA during Summerslam weekend. The meeting was scheduled for a half hour but ended up going a couple of hours and everything was worked out.
WWE has already begun selling Warrior merchandise, and will release a second Warrior DVD on March 31, 2014, which is the Tuesday before Wrestlemania 30. The first DVD was not done with Warrior’s consent
