(Updated) Breaking News: CM Punk Leaves WWE and Goes Home, Off All Shows Moving Forward, WrestleMania XXX Card Changed

News, Top Story

(Update at 4:30pm – The official WWE Twitter page no longer follows CM Punk. Punk is still listed on the WWE website roster page but that may change soon.)

WWE top star CM Punk told Vince McMahon on Tuesday night that he was going home, and did just that. Punk is now off all WWE shows moving forward and WrestleMania XXX is now likely to feature Daniel Bryan vs. Triple H instead of the rumored Punk vs. HHH match.

Punk still is under contract with WWE for six months, so time will tell if things (hopefully) get repaired or if he just stays home and is gone from WWE for good.

As for why this all happened, this interview could be the reason.
