Following on the stunning events of Super-Spider-Man #25 including its return of Peter Parker, which followed the seemingly game changing events that started in December 2012, it appears that Superior Spider-Man #26 continues the journey that was started last issue. It’s also a title and journey that aligns well with the All-New Marvel Now branding despite its controversy.

It looks like with the breadcrumbs of memories left of Peter Parker in the psyche and body now controlled by Doctor Octopus, Peter seems to have enough to get stronger, remember, and become again the Amazing Spider-Man!
Plus the Avengers are pushing (undercover Doctor Octopus as) Spider-Man who decides to take drastic action to keep his Doc Ock secret!
Peter Parker fights in the Mindscape and the Avengers are taking action in the real world. It sure looks like Doc Ock’s days are numbered.
