During his interview with Arsenio Hall, WWE Hall of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austin addressed the CM Punk situation.
Said Austin: “Word on the street is it was real.”
Austin then said Punk leaving WWE can be compared to when he left in 2002, where Austin admitted that he “lost out on a lot of money” as a result.
Austin then said either Vince McMahon will meet with Punk to smooth things over or Punk will come back to WWE when he’s ready. He also called Punk a friend but also “a hard-headed young man” in his prime earning years.
