The last time basketball was relevant when paired with wrestling (at least the sports entertainment kind), it may have been when both Dennis Rodman and Karl Malone stepped into the ring while World Championship Wrestling was still #1 when it came to TV ratings.
Flash forward and now we’ve arrived at the likes of WWE Hall of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austin and Indiana Pacers star center Roy Hibbert exchanging tweets about the two meeting one another at a Lakers game at the end of January.
The interesting angle is having the two discuss another future encounter, either on the basketball court (Hibbert says he’ll guard Big Show) or the squared circle as part of a battle royal.
