WWE Network Listing Of Every PPV And Mega Card Available

News

Over at WWE.com there’s an entire page that lists what pay-per-view and mega card events will be offered once the WWE Network launches in February.

Perusing the list, one stuck out in particular: Over the Edge 1999. I’m sure I’m not alone in questioning the purpose of it being offered. Granted, I know WWE wants to have all of its events accessible, but is this really an event you’d want to watch?

Other events of note are having the following titles:

The Wrestling Classic (1985), The Big Event (1986), Royal Rumble (1988), This Tuesday in Texas (1991), and UK events from the 1999 through 2003 for WWE. But no No Holds Barred movie/match combo.

Starrcade ’83, Starrcade ’84, Starrcade ’85, Starrcade ’86 for WCW – plus the lack of the three WCW/New Japan Supershows (1991-1993), AAA’s When Worlds Collide (produced by WCW), and 1995’s Collision in Korea. Those last five may be a rights issue.

The either oversight or lack of ECW’s Crossing the Line 1999 PPV.

I’m also curious to see how commentary will be handled on events that featured Jesse Ventura. As in the removal of his voice for individual matches versus complete PPV events.

And with commentary you also wonder about the Vengeance 2007 PPV and references about Chris Benoit not being at the event during the CM Punk and John Morrison match for the ECW Championship.
