The spoilery free preview to Justice League of America #13 focuses on a major DC Comics New 52 villain who is integral to keeping the Justices Leagues in their unusual prison.
This issue follows last issue’s supposed two deaths as a result of the machinations of the earlier issue’s surprising Big Bad.
All roads lead to this DC Comics New 52 issue.
I remain curious as to how this all will lead to the debut of Justice League United and its focus on the new Justice League of Canada that replaces the JLA in April 2014.

We learn early on the nature of the Firestorm Matrix prison the Justice Leagues are trapped in and, seemingly, how its ticking time bomb can be thwarted. Jason Rusch, Ronald Raymond, can’t we all just get along?
With that, Stargirl helps the Justice Leagues FINALLY escape their Firestorm Matrix prison.
However, all is NOT as it seems.
The Martian Manhunter didn’t die last issue because he never escaped the Firestorm Matrix prison. However, Stargirl sorta did. Martian Manhunter has also communicated on the outside with Steve Trevor, currently featured in the Forever Evil: A.R.G.U.S. mini-series, who has an idea on how to free the Justice Leagues. And, Stargirl knows where to find that secret weapon.
