MATCH #1: Brutal Burgers vs. reDRagon

Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly come out with the Tag Team Title belts, as they were still Champions when this show was taped but they have since lost the belts to The Young Bucks. CHEESEBURGER and O’Reilly start the match, and CHEESEBURGER actually gets some offense in. Brutal Bob and Fish tag in and they go back and forth a bit. Brutal Burgers use some double-team moves to actually put the former two-time ROH World Tag Team Champions on their heels. New tag team unit Hanson and Raymond Rowe are shown watching in the aisle. O’Reilly and Fish are able to regain control, but it’s not long before the tenacious Brutal Burgers duo is back on offense. Bob and CHEESEBURGER use some shockingly effective double-team moves, as it appears that reDRagon underestimated them. The clock strikes midnight though, and there is no Cinderella Story as reDRagon are able to hit CHEESEBURGER with Chasing the Dragon to get the win.

WINNERS – reDRagon (Kyle O’Reilly & Bobby Fish)

When we come back from commercial it’s time for a video rcapping the Kevin Steen, Cliff Compton and Outlaw Inc. issue. See, Steen and Compton were feuding, but gained respect for each other. Outlaw Inc. want Steen to join them for some reason, but Steen didn’t want to so Eddie Kingston and Homicide beat up Compton, which upsets Steen for some reason.

We’ve got about 40 minutes of show left for the main event, should be a good one.

MATCH #2: “Unbreakable” Michael Elgin vs. AJ Styles

ROH World Champion Adam Cole joinas the commentary team. Styles and Elgin start off slowly, feeing each other out in the early going. Elgin works the arm for a bit and Styles takes a powder to regroup. Back in the ring Styles brings Elgin down to the mat and he also chooses to work the arm. Things get heated and they start trading strikes. Styles takes control and continues to target Elgin’s arm as we head to commercial.

When we come back Styles sends Elgin to the floor and follows him out with a hard baseball slide dropkick. They go back int the ring and Styles is firmly in control. He hits The Dropkick and keeps Elgin grounded. Elgin comes back and hits the delayed vertical suplex for two. It’s time for another commerical break, as we leave with Elgin in control.

We come back and Elgin sends Styles to the floor. Back in the ring Elgin flattens Styles with a shoulderblock from the top rope fro a two-count. Elgin keeps Styles on the mat with a chinlock. He sends Styles to the apron and charges, but Styles drops the top rope and Elgin crashes to the floor. Styles hits the flip-over inverted DDT on the floor! That’s new. Back in the ring Styles hits the springboard flying forearm smash and a Death Valley Neckbreaker for two. Elgin comes back with a Black Hole Slam for a near-fall and we take another commercial break.

Back from the break and Elgin has Styles up on the top rope. Styles avoids the superplex and comes down to the canvas for a rack bomb for two. He hits a brainbusters for another two-count. Styles goes for the Styles Clash but Elgin powers out of it and turns it into a suplex, which Styles knees his way out of. Elgin is able to hit a Tombstone Piledriver for a near-fall. They continue to go back and forth and Styles locks on the Calf Killer. Elgin powers his way out of it. Back on their feet Styles hits the Pele. Styles puts Elgin on the top rope and hits a super hurricanrana! He goes to the apron and tries the springboard 450 but it ends up as more of a double stomp. Man, if he’s not careful AJ is going to kill somebody. Styles covers for two. He looks to follow up but the bell rings as the time limit has expired.

WINNER – Time Limit Draw

Elgin and Styles want to keep going, but Cole does not want to see a clear winner between two of his top contenders, so he sucker shots both of them with the ROH World Title belt. Jay Briscoe comes out and runs him off. Kevin Steen comes out to chase Cole as well, and the ROH World Champion escapes through the crowd.

I grew up and now I write for Inside Pulse. Oh, and one time I saw a blimp!
