Original Sins #1 & #2 Of All-New Marvel Now Companion Series Announced & Headlined By Young Avengers With Thane Son Of Thanos & Others!

Marvel Comics has announced another Original Sin tie-in series: the 5 issue Original Sins (yes with an “s” at the end).

The best ways that I think I can explain all these parts of Original Sin are as follows:

Make sense?

(BTW, did you catch the stealth launch of Original Sin in the pages of All-New X-Men #25 this week? This pre-dates Original Sin #0 and Original Sin #1 set to launch in the coming weeks.)

I’m pretty stoked to see Thane, the son of Thanos, back after his starring role in last year’s Infinity event conclusion from Marvel Now.

The House of Ideas botched the follow-up to Infinity with two terrible one-shots under the Inhumanity title and also switched writers and delayed its new ongoing series Inhuman which has been maligned by many. Marvel is so desperate to have Inhuman succeed that it will include the entire Inhuman #1 debut issue in Amazing Spider-Man #1 like they did with Black Widow #1 in internet-breaking 😉 Superior Spider-Man #30.

Anyhow, Marvel should have led with Thane IMHO – who appears to have the power over life and death – instead of Inhuman focusing on a character we meet for the first time in that book. Looks like Original Sins (see upper left part of the cover to issue #1 in below news release) brings back Thane. I hope there is a more solid follow through with the character post Original Sins.

Anyhow, here is Marvel Comics’ Original Sins news release via PREVIEWSworld:
