In the Ultimate Warrior tribute special airing this week on WWE Network, Vince McMahon gets as emotional as I’ve ever seen him when he tears up while talking about losing Warrior this week. Vince and Warrior finally made up at the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony, and Warrior even said McMahon was like a father to him.
Meanwhile, Sting makes his first WWE appearance on the Ultimate Warrior tribute special, recalling the early years of Warrior’s career, claiming he was a little jealous when Warrior beat Hulk Hogan at WrestleMania VI, and explaining how Warrior definitely beat to his own drum.
There was also some footage of Hulk Hogan apologizing to Warrior for anything he’d done over the years, a touching moment between Warrior and Sgt. Slaughter, and much more. Great stuff all around.
