The Amazing Race All-Stars – Episode 8 – Not Like Us

Reviews, Shows

Do Jennifer and Caroline use the term “not like us” so much that they have an acronym – NLU – for it? That’s what I was wondering at the beginning of this episode, as everyone ganged up on Brenchel for using the U-Turn on David and Connor. Honestly, grow up people! It’s part of the game. What a bunch of whiners.

Later, David and Connor just gave the “tunnel drill” answer to the Afghanimals and to the blonds. I can’t stand that! I don’t want to root for any of these fools who constantly help one another out. But I’ve never been a big cowboys fan, and I hate Brenchel. So… (By the way, I would have answered that the piece of equipment was a futuristic rock-climbing wall because I’m a genius.)

I wish The Amazing Race would make it harder to share information somehow. It bothers me so much. Sure, helping a weak team get to the end will make it easier for you to win. But it kind of spoils the show for fans, and it would really suck if somehow Jen and Caroline ended up winning.

This tweet pretty much sums it up.

THIS GAME ISN’T CALLED ‘THE AMAZING FRIEND’ FOR A REASON #AmazingRace #RHAP

That’s enough whining for now because PUPPIES! Cute lil (OK, giant) doggies! The Roadblock required a lot of physical strength, so Caroline and Jennifer were basically left in the dust.

David and Connor came in first, followed immediately by the cowboys and the Afghanimals. Then Brenchel came in, and finally Caroline and Jen… and it was a freaking non-elimination leg! Those girls are the luckiest humans on Earth. No one is like them.
