Going through my Facebook feed, I came across a web post related to WWE. With a headline that included “Will Break Your Entire Heart,” I knew it was going to be emotional.
The video is about Make-a-Wish kid Connor Michalek. Nicknamed “Stone Crusher,” Connor had terminal brain cancer but that didn’t prevent him from making Daniel Bryan tap out to his own submission hold or pinning Triple H while a locker room of superstars surrounded the ring.
The five-minute piece is certain to make you shed tears, as it did Stephanie McMahon who, along with Daniel Bryan and Connor’s father, provide commentary about the strength of this brave little kid.
As one discussion commentator put it on the website Uproxx, “For all the stupid, racist things that WWE does, and I mean they do a lot. You can never question what they do for kids.”
