Inside Fights Is Hiring – Need People Who Want To Work To Replace Those Who Didn’t

Site News, Top Story

Turnover in anything in life is bound to happen and we here at Inside Fights have experienced it most recently. Thus we’re looking to bring in some new faces and fresh blood to reinvigorate the site. We were here when the MMA world exploded a decade ago and we’re looking to stay that way. We’ve turned over nearly our entire staff as of late and are now looking to add some fresh faces to replace them.

What are we looking for? At least six people to come on board as soon as possible to help turn our ship around. We’re looking for at least three people apiece to cover boxing and MMA beats as well as at least one person to cover kickboxing.

Job Responsibilities:

Post between 2-4 news stories every day of the week, scouring the web for pictures, video and news and put them together in an easy to digest format. We’ll even provide the format, as well, to make it quick and easy. We just need you to find it and post it. And potentially do interviews, talk to fighters and other things of interest as well. The opportunities are endless.

You don’t need to even be located in a specific location, either. We’re looking for good people across the world; all you need to be is willing to work.

You’ll be working on one of the following shifts (CST):

8am-12pm
12pm-4pm
4pm-8pm

What do you get out of this? You get a byline, first off, as Inside Fights is one of the longest running combat sports websites out there. You also will get mentoring and experience, as well, as all we’re looking for is someone willing to take a chance and put their name out there. You don’t need to have experience on another site, or to have written on the web before either. We’re looking for people with the desire to write and want to be a part of something.

People have gone from Inside Fights to full time, paid writing positions at Heavy.com, MMA Fighting, Bleacher Report, Scrapp Magazine and other places of note as well as having been featured on CagePotato, Yahoo Sports, The Wrestling Observer and plenty of places around the web.

If you want a kick start to a potential career in combat sports journalism here’s your spot. This is an opportunity to build your portfolio and your writing resume. We’ll even be able to get you into events near you for coverage, as well.

How do you apply?

Email me at Sjsawitz@yahoo.com with a writing sample on a current news event in MMA, 2-300 words, and tell me why Inside Fights should hire you.
