When I returned Bray was talking about some teacher that said he knew he was evil. He said somewhere that teacher is rotting in a retirement home and he is the man of a 1000 Truths. He said his ends justify his means but the teacher lady was right, he is evil. He is the necessary evil that balances everything out in this world. He said he is hope that people get behind. He said at Payback he will be the last man standing. But tonight Luke Harper will put John Cena down. Cena’s music hit so Rowan and Harper went to stop him on the ramp. But Cena came through the crowd and hit the AA on Bray then escaped.

WHAT I LIKED

Rollins/Batista: This was a good match and much better than the one these two had on Smackdown a few weeks ago. Rollins continues to impress in the ring. And Batista did well in the match too. Add in Dean Ambrose on commentary and it made the match even better. Of course, the constant brawling between these two every week is kind of getting a bit redundant. Something has to happen to change things up in this feud.

Alicia Fox/Paige: Hey, it may be a bit different. But I’m liking this little bit of edge that Alicia Fox has added to her character. She feels like a whole new Diva. And it is a nice little mini feud to have going on in the Divas Division. Much better than anything Total Divas related.

Cesaro/Sheamus: A bit too short to materialize to something really good, but it was a nice little match. I’m sure these two are saving the good stuff for a likely match at Payback. Sheamus gets way too much unnecessary heat from the Internet. He’s a good worker in the ring and hopefully once he turns heel will be more accepted.

Adam Rose Segment: This is one segment where I actually liked the England crowd tonight. Hopefully the crowd affect carries over from England and helps Adam Rose’s gimmick in the States. And I actually liked the segment overall. It’s something that should have been done last week, but I get why they might have saved it for England.

WHAT I DIDN’T LIKE

Cena/Wyatt Feud: As you can tell by the Title I put on the main event, this stuff is just getting repetitive at this point. The feud needs to end more than the Shield/Evolution one. It just seems like nothing is changing week after week. There are only so many different ways you can present this feud. The Harper/Cena match was good, but it is somewhat dragged down by this never ending feud. Both men need new opponents after Payback.

Beat The Clock Challenge: Maybe it’s just me but I’m not a fan of this concept. I couldn’t tell you exactly why. Maybe it’s because I’m a fan of tournaments more. Or just straight up #1 Contenders matches. I was just never a fan of this format. It also exposes how slow ref’s counts are for count outs, as evident in the Ziggler/Henry match. Plus we had a really bad RVD/Del Rio match. Both guys looked off and appeared to be going through the motions.

State of the WWE Title: So basically, the WWE’s hyped up announcement was that you should tune in next week to see what happens with the Titles. That’s the kind of stuff that could really piss off a lot of fans. I didn’t like it. I know it’s a way to get people to tune in on a normally down Memorial Day episode, but I hate false advertising like that.

I thought the show was okay. But again, the WWE just seems stuck in a stagnant state right now. Nothing is changing and I feel like this is going to be the case until after Payback. Hopefully leading up to Money in the Bank some things will start to change. Because the WWE definitely needs that right now. I’m giving the show a 4. A couple of good matches but nothing else to really add to things.

Until Next Time,

Justin C
