Last season, it was assumed that Tessanne Chin would be named the winner of The Voice. This season, it’s really anyone’s game.
Monday’s performance finale asked the final three contestants, Jake Worthington, Christina Grimmie, and Josh Kaufman to perform three times. They were asked to do an encore of one of their performances from earlier on in the season (chosen by America), a song selected by their coach, and a duet with their mentors as well.
After the show, I had the chance to catch up with the last woman standing from Team Adam, Christina Grimmie, to discuss how she felt the night went, if she thought that her large YouTube fanbase would help propel her to victory and if she watched her competitor’s performances and how she thought she measured up against them.
