MATCH #1: Ethan Page vs. “Pro Wrestling’s Last Real Man” Silas Young

They start with some chain wrestling and try to one-up each other. Young hits a dropkick and then decks Page with a hard clothesline. Page trips Young up and hits an elbow drop for two. The back and forth continues, but it’s Young dishing out a majority of the offense. Page fights back with a Match Killer for a two-count. Young responds with the Finlay Roll but misses the Pee Gee Waja Plunge. Page hits a leaping enziguiri off the second rope for a two-count. Young catches a charging Page with the backbreaker into a lariat to get the three-count.

WINNER – Silas Young

After the match, Young gets on the house mic and says he won’t be disrespected by facing opponents like Ethan Page ever again. Young says he’s being overlooked and that ROH isn’t giving him opportunities, so he’s going to make his own.

MATCH #2: TaDarius Thomas w/ Jimmy Jacobs and Adam Page vs. Caprice Coleman

Before the match, Coleman cuts a promo chastising TD and Page for the choices that they are making in following The Decade. Coleman says TD could be just like Jesus, and he bad mouths all three members of Decade. Jacobs whispers in TD’s ear and TD kicks Coleman in the gut to start the match. TD is all fired up as Jacobs yells words of wisdom at him, and it’s time for a commercial break.

When we come back Coleman has made a comeback and he unleashes a flurry of offense. TD cuts him off and hits a flipover belly-to-back suplex. Momentum shifts back to Coleman, and he takes TD down with a jumping Flatliner. Coleman goes up top and hits a huge leg lariat to get the pin.

WINNER – Caprice Coleman

After the match, Jacobs physically and verbally abuses TaDarius Thomas, and then makes TD watch as he puts the boots to Adam Page.

We come back from a commercial break, and Truth Martini and Jay Lethal are in the ring to talk about how awesome Jay Lethal is. Truth cuts his usual promo, and Lethal joins in by talking about his accomplishments and how awesome he is. Lethal offers the first man who gets in the ring a shot at the TV Title, and it looks like CHEESEBURGER is accepting the challenge.

MATCH #3: ROH World TV Title Match – Jay Lethal vs. CHEESEBURGER

Lethal has been the Champion since 4.4.14, and this is his second defense. He hits an immediate superkick to knock CHEESEBURGER out. The Champ probably could have ended it there but he wants to beat up his opponent some more. This is an extremely one-sided contest, and Brutal Bob comes out to cheer on his tag team partner. Lethal hits Hail to the King but CHEESEBURGER kicks out! They trade strikes and CHEESEBURGER goes blow for blow with the Champion. CHEESEBURGER scores a near-fall with a cross body block, and then he counters the Lethal Injection with a DDT for another two-count. Seconds later Lethal is able to connect with the Lethal Injection to get the pin and retain the title.

WINNER – Jay Lethal (retains ROH World TV Title)

After the match Truth Martini gets on the mic to brag about the victory, but both Matt Taven and Tommaso Ciampa come out and it’s a huge brawl that has to be broken up by referees and security. An angry Lethal challenges both Taven and Ciampa to a triple threat title match next week!

MATCH #4: Charm City Street Fight – Kevin Steen & Cliff Compton vs. Outlaw Inc.

Compton surprises Outlaw Inc. during the introductions with a steel chair. Everyone spills to the floor and this one is already out of control. Homicide and Eddie Kingston are tough though, and they fight back in short order. Things continue to be crazy, with weapons and bodies flying all over the place. Time for a commercial break.

When we come back the brawl is still in full swing, and Steen produces a ladder! Steen and Homicide take the fight back to the ring, where Homicide hits a tornado DDT. Homicide tries another DDT but Steen hits a release Northern Lights Suplex right onto the ladder. Kingston gets in the ring to battle Steen and takes a DDT for it. Steen and Kingston battle on the top rope and Compton comes to the rescue with a DDT. That’s a lot of DDTs in a short amount of time. Compton finds another ladder and brings it in. He kicks Homicide in the junk and then hits another DDT. Compton climbs up the ladder and Kingston pushes it over. Homicide hits Steen with an Ace Crusher on top of the ladder, and it’s a two-on-one disadvantage for Steen right now. Even so, Steen is able to take Homicide out and then hit Kingston with an F-Cinq on a ladder to get the pin.

WINNERS – Kevin Steen & Cliff Compton

After the match Steen extends his hand to Compton, who refuses to shake it. Compton then leaves through the crowd. Homicide and Kingston also leave through the crowd.

I grew up and now I write for Inside Pulse. Oh, and one time I saw a blimp!
