WWE Releases Emma

News, Top Story

WWE announced today that they have released WWE Diva Emma (real name Tenille Dashwood):

WWE has come to terms on the release of WWE Diva Emma as of today, July 2, 2014. WWE wishes Emma the best in all her future endeavors.

Harrak’s Hit: Although Dashwood’s release comes days after she was arrested for shoplifting in Hartford, CT, this comes as a bit of a surprise. From the all accounts (and even the local press), this appears like it could have just been a mistake on Dashwood’s part while using the self-checkout lane and the police saw a chance to make headlines. It wouldn’t be a first for Hartford and I could see Dashwood being rehired if this situation works out in her favor. If not, WWE lost a very good wrestler in a division they can always use them.
