WWE Monday Night Raw News: Some Last Minute Script Changes, Booking Decisions

News

WWE had a post-PPV edition of Monday Night Raw last night and had a few last minute changes that had minor effects on the show.

Originally, the script for Raw called for a match between Bo Dallas and the Great Khali in a rematch from last week. However, that was dropped and instead Dallas faced Damien Sandow (dressed as Lebron James) and Khali was shifted to work with Rusev.

In addition, there was a rematch from Smackdown planned between Roman Reigns and Rusev. Reigns was moved into a handicap match against Kane and Randy Orton, which explains why there were curiously 2 handicap matches in the first hour of the show.

Both of these moves seem related to the changes in the push for Rusev, due to the controversial Lana promo and change in booking direction
