Bellator Champion vs. Champion As Eduardo Dantas Set To Face Joe Warren In September

News

It will be Bellator champion versus champion in September.

Current Bellator bantamweight champion Eduardo Dantas is set to face off against interim champion Joe Warren to unify the titles and result in an undisputed 135-pound champion in September according to Dantas’ coach and manager Andre Pedernerias.

“September,” Pederneiras said when asked when Dantas will fight again. “He has a fight scheduled, but I don’t have the exact date of the fight.”

Dantas (16-3) successfully defended his title for the last time with a submission victory over Anthony Leone back in March, and Bellator decided to create an interim title when he was unable to fight Warren in May.

Warren (11-3), a former Bellator featherweight champion, defeated Rafael Silva to win the interim championship at Bellator 118.
