We continue to chug away to September 2014 and DC Comics’ 41 title New 52 Futures End 3D cover month and 5 year line-wide leap forward, the weekly series’ twelfth issue hit stands today.
Before I get to my capsule review and spoilers for New 52 Futures End #12, let’s get you caught up on this series so far:

…the real developments in this issue are at the end and take place thirty-five years in the future. These last few pages introduce the Joker to the New 52’s future plus…
…reveals that Batman Beyond’s mentor the original Batman / Bruce Wayne didn’t die in the New 52 Futures End #0 as we first thought! And, did we mention… the JOKER! Wow.
As with previous issues, the book ends with a tease of next week’s The New 52 Future’s End #13!
