Flyweight Henry Cejudo Pulls Out Of Legacy FC 34, Poised To Sign With UFC

An Olympic gold medalist is ready to make waves in the UFC.

Undefeated flyweight Henry Cejudo (6-0) has pulled himself out of next month’s Legacy FC 34 event, adding fuel to the fiery rumors that he is on the verge of signing a new deal with UFC.

Despite the speculation, UFC officials have denied a deal to bring Cejudo over is already in place.

“While there have been discussions, no deal has been reached at this time,” read a statement from a UFC official.

At Legacy FC 34, Cejudo was attempt to successfully cut weight and compete as a flyweight for the first time (after failing in his two previous attempts at making the class).
