Daniel Cormier Offers To Fly Domino’s Delivery Man To UFC 178

If there is one thing Daniel Cormier loves to do its fight. But over the last 24 hours, we have found out that he loves two things even more. Twitter and his fans.

After creating waves by calling out light heavyweight champion Jon ‘Bones’ Jones and even creating his own BREAK BONES t-shirts, Cormier reached out to a pizza delivery guy who just might be one of the biggest Cormier fans around.

Russ Roman was bummed when he heard Cormier (4-0) is stepping in to fight champion Jon Jones (14-1) at UFC 178 on Sept. 27 as he had already made travel arrangements for UFC 181 in December, and he voiced his disappointment on Twitter.

Roman saved up his tips to make the trip, and it appears he might still get to see his favourite fighter compete for the title. Today, the new #1 light heavyweight title contender offered to fly his fan to the fight – if he can spring for a hotel.

“If I’m his favorite fighter, and he wants to see me compete for a title, get me his information, you get him off of work, and I’ll fly him to Vegas,” Cormier, 35, said on MMAjunkie Radio. “Now, am I going to take care of his whole trip? No. But I’ll take care of his travel. There you go.”

Pretty awesome. As Jones as been trading blows with Cormier on Twitter, let’s see if he tries to one-up this.
