It appears Matt Brown wasn’t the only fighter on the UFC on FOX 12 card that faced weight issues on Friday in advance of tomorrow’s event.
UFC newcomer Juliana Carneiro Lima did not make weight for her preliminary card match against Joanna Jedrzejczyk. She weighed in at 117 pounds for the strawweight bout and was given two hours to cut to the limit of 116 pounds while Jedrzejczyk came in at 115. Lima got down to 116.5 pounds, but couldn’t hit the limit. Like Matt Brown, she also won’t be fined by the California State Athletic Commission.
