Juliana Lima Pulled From The Ultimate Fighter 20; Promoted To UFC on FOX 12 Instead

While Juliana Lima was ready to take on all challengers on The Ultimate Fighter 20, she no longer has to as the strawweight fighter was pulled from the show and given a fight on this Saturday’s UFC on FOX 12 card in San Jose, CA.

Lima will take on the undefeated Joanna Jedrzejczyk this weekend and expressed relief about not having to compete for a job at UFC.

The mui thai specialist said that while she would have liked to compete for The Ultimate Fighter crown, she was happy about not having to live in a house with other fighters.

“I’m actually relieved,” she said. “I was sad because it was an opportunity to win the title, but I know I have four fights on my contract, and I have what it takes to get to the title. I honestly feel it was the best call because I’m not an easy person to live with and I would give them too much trouble! I was really tense with the idea of living with other girls, so it turned out to be great because I avoided the stress and having to control my weight, and I’m making my UFC debut on a big card. It’s wonderful.”
