Robbie Lawler’s win-by-decision on Saturday earned him a pretty good pay day.
The welterweight #1 contender received $210,000 for beating Matt Brown (who received $46,000 for his part in the match). The main eventers also received an additional $50,000 for being the fight of the night. It’s expected that Lawler will square off for the weltereight title against Johny Hendricks next (and after the champion recovers from surgery).
Other payouts included Anthony Johnson receiving $106,000 for his 44-second TKO win over Antonio Rogerio Nogueira and Josh Thomson who received $85,000 for his split-decision loss to Bobby Green.
