The best revenge is served cold, and if that sentiment is true… Joanna Jedrzejczyk served up an ice cold ice cream knuckle sandwich to Juliana Lima on Saturday’s UFC on FOX 12.
After the weigh-ins on Friday, it was clear that the undefeated Polish fighter was not happy with her strawweight opponent. The two had a heated exchange prior to their fight that streamed on UFC Fight Pass prior to the Robbie Lawler/Mike Brown main card on FOX. While Jedrzejczyk strugged to find her footing in the first round, she went on to dominate the second half of the fight and was the easy winner by unanimous decision.
Joanna Jedrzejczyk wasn’t happy with her opponent at Friday’s UFC on FOX 12 weigh-ins, but she got the last laugh at Saturday’s event.
At the post-fight press conference the winner said that Lima had it coming.
“She wasn’t nice at the weigh-ins, but now she got beat up,” Jedrzejczyk. “I think she’ll think about that.”
