In a recent interview with The MMA Hour, Bellator President Scott Coker addressed speculation that former backyard and UFC fighter Kimbo Slice would be signing with his organization.
“Am I interested in Kimbo Slice, you know what, there was a conversation that one of our matchmakers had with him, but I think he’s pretty much done,” he said. “I think he’s retired. I’m not sure what his position is, but I don’t think there was any interest.”
Slice was featured on The Ultimate Fighter and had an impressive run with EliteXC before signing with Dana White where he quietly faded out.
