Michael Bisping expressed concerns over Cung Le’s impressive physique earlier this week (in advance of their headline fight in Macau tomorrow) and the UFC granted his wish for advance drug testing.
UFC Tonight cites a conversation with Dana White who confirmed that both fighters will undergo enhanced blood and urine testing after their match and that the UFC is sanctioning this on their own. This is because there is no athletic commission in Macau so White plans on paying for the testing himself.
Bisping had said that he was concerned over Le’s impressive appearance Wednesday during fight week, but didn’t think the advanced testing would happen.
