In one of the better casting announcements of the week, Niecy Nash has been cast on The Mindy Project.
TVLine.com reports that Nash, a veteran of Reno 911! and Getting On will play Dr. Jean Fishman. A tough-as-nails Boston physician who is the new chief at Shulman & Associates’ admitting hospital. Fishman also happens to be a lesbian.
