If you wanted to see Olympic gold medalist Henry Cejudo’s first UFC fight tomorrow, you will have to wait.
The UFC announced that Cejudo who was scheduled to fight Scott Jorgensen on tomorrow night’s UFC 177’s prelims has withdrawn due to unspecified “medical reasons.”
Though no details were given as to why Cejudo pulled out, Andy Foster — the Executive Director of the California State Athletic Commission talked to MMAFighting.com and said that the withdrawal was not made at the request of the commission, meaning it was a decision made by Cejudo and the UFC.
Tomorrow’s card is taking hit after hit and not in the Octagon. Renan Barao also can’t compete after not making weight.
