Dr. Niles Crane is back on TV.
While his new role will be remarkably different from the one he made famous on Frasier, David Hyde Pierce is confirmed to be joining the sixth season of The Good Wife.
Pierce will play a cable news commentator who is appalled by Chicago’s corruption and murder rate, which motivates him to make a run for office. This means that he will go head-to-head against Alicia who ended last season by contemplating a run for the same office.
The Good Wife returns Sunday, Sept. 21 at 9 p.m. on CBS.
