Game of Thrones will reportedly not bring back three characters when it returns for its fifth season next year.
TVLine reports that Hodor, Bran Stark, and Meera will not be featured in the next run of episodes. The site cites actor Kristian Nairn as their source.
“We have a season off and we have a year’s hiatus, solely because I imagine our storyline is up to the end of the books,” Nairn revealed in a recent interview. “So, I get my year off now to do [my DJ show] Rave of Thrones and gallivant all over the world.”
At the end of Season 4, Bran & Co. had finally met with the human personna behind the the three-eyed raven that Bran kept seeing in his visions. With most of Season 5 depicting the Westeros region of Dorne, the Bran/Raven storyline has been tabled.
