Olympian Henry Cejudo Officially Moves To Bantamweight Division After Failing To Make Weight In Last Fight

News

Henry Cejudo has taken the UFC’s advice and will move into a higher weight class.

After failing to make weight in what was supposed to be his debut at UFC 177, Cejudo’s manager says his fighter knows that moving into a different class is a better way to ease his transition into the Octagon.

“Henry is absolutely interested in competing in the UFC and will be happy to move to 135 pounds,” McFarlane said.

While this isn’t a direct quote from Cejudo himself, it can’t be completely confirmed as of this writing.
