The UFC Fight Night 50 Bonus Payouts went exactly as expected.
‘Jacare’ Souza and Ben Rothwell were both rewarded with “Performance Of The Night” honours, for their stoppage wins over Gegard Moussasi & Alistair Overeem respectively.
‘Fight of the Night’ honours went to Joe Lauzon and Michael Chiesa, who fought for the better part of two rounds in a crowd-pleasing back-and-forth affair before a doctor called an end to the fight because of a big cut over Chiesa’s right eye, and the copious amounts of blood that ensued forced an abrupt and disappointing conclusion to the bout.
