Featherweight contenders Darren Elkins (7-3) and Lucas Martins (3-1) will lock horns at UFC 179 in Brazil on October 25.
Elkins is now a legitimate title contender and has climbed up the rankings following a five-fight winning streak that included victories over the likes Diego Brandao and Steven Siler. Since the wins, however, he has lost to both Chad Mendes and Jeremy Stephens.
Martins is looking for his fourth straight win after stopping Jeremy Larsen, Junior Hernandez and Alex White while competing in both the bantamweight and featherweight divisions.
