Muhammed Lawal has been fined for cursing and making an obscene gesture at the crowd at Bellator 123.
Mohegan Department of Athletic Regulation director Michael Mazzulli told MMAJunkie.com today that the commission is fining the fighting $2500 for his actions after his win over Dustin Jacoby last week.
Mazzulli added that the commission is looking into changing its regulations to ban in-cage following a publicity stunt from Stephan Bonnar and Justin McCully at the event.
“If a faceoff occurs by accident, we’re going to make the promoter liable as much as the fighters,” Mazzulli said.
