Ronda Rousey Targets Gina Carano & Cat Zingano… After Bethe Correia

While Ronda Rousey has eyes set on a potential match against Bethe Correia, the women’s bantamweight champion has also outlined other opponents she’d like to square off against.

Targeting a match on the Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier card on January 3 in Las Vegas, Rousey spoke to reporters at UFC 51 in Brazil and outlined her future plans, admitting that Gina Carano and Cat Zingano remain her top targets.

“Yeah, I definitely think she’s ready to challenge me. She’s one of the best in the division, she’s a top contender, and as soon as Dana think it’s her time, I’m ready to find her.

“I think the two fights I would like the most are either Gina Carano, or Cat Zingano,” Rousey said. “I know [Zingano is] recovering. I talked to her personally and I told her one day we are going to have a title fight that you deserve. I’m going to beat you, but you’re going to have it. She’s had a very, very rough year and it’s exactly what she need. I’d be happy to provide that experience for her.”
