Yesterday, I had the chance to catch up with Mickey Henry & Pete Schmalz ahead of Sunday’s The Amazing Race Canada finale. I chatted with the best friends about a variety of topics including whether they surprised themselves by making it all the way to the end. We also talked about how they managed to avoid being U-Turned in the Double U-Turn episode and I asked them if they thought this was because the other teams didn’t see them as a threat or because of their friendly nature. I asked them if they thought about aligning with Ryan and Rob in the finale just to ensure that the Olympians don’t win. The pair detailed how they managed to stay under-the-radar and I also asked them if the teams always got along as it appeared on TV. Finally, Mickey and Pete told me what they thought that they needed to do to win on Sunday.
