Roman Reigns Injury Update from WWE Network

News, Top Story

WWE Network gave a live update around 2:30 pm ET Saturday on the Roman Reigns injury situation with Scott Stanford announcing the news from a newsroom and speaking with Reigns’ doctor on the phone. The doctor said that Roman Reigns will miss a minimum of 4-6 weeks, but could also be out up to 12 weeks depending on his recovery from emergency surgery he underwent today due to suffering incarcerated hernia.

They also made it a point to mention that this injury was not the result of anything that happened in the ring, meaning there will be not be a storyline write-off where Seth Rollins caused the injury somehow.

There was no announcement as to what might replace the time allotted for the Rollins-Reigns match at Night of Champions this Sunday.
