Welcome to the live coverage of WWE Night of Champions!


The show opens with a video package showing Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, Steve Austin, and more discussing their former matches.  It transitions into a John Cena and Brock Lesnar promo.


WWE Tag Team Championship

The Usos (c) vs. Gold & Stardust

Goldust starts it off against one of the Usos.  They tie up and Goldust powers him into the corner.  Uso gets out and hits a big running elbow.  He rams Dust into the corner and tags in Jimmy.  They chop him down.  Jimmy stomps on Goldust’s head.  Goldust throws Jimmy to his corner and tags in Stardust.  Jimmy hits a body slam and a running elbow for a two count.  Jimmy propels Star up and Jey pulls his head down on the top rope.  Jey covers him for a one count.  Jey locks in an armbar and Star fights out by hitting face blows in the ropes.  Goldy jumps Jey and gets into the ring.  He slaps Jey and hammer throws him into one of the turnbuckles.  Star tags in and kicks the held Uso.  Star pins him for a two.  Star stomps on the leg of Jey.  He kicks him in the face.  He punches him in the face and tags out.  Gold breathes and punches the Uso.  He lifts him up and Uso fights out.  Goldy stops it with a knee to the abdomen.  Uso gets out and tags in Jimmy.  Jimmy hits a headbutt and some chops.  Jimmy hits a throat thrust.  He taunts and flips Goldust over his back for a two count.  Jimmy goes outside and jumps on the barricade.  He lands on Stardust and Goldust hits a scoop slam to take back over.  Goldust rolls in Jimmy and covers for two.  Star tags in and viciously attacks Jimmy.  He tags out and Goldust covers for two.  He locks in a side headlock and Jimmy is fighting up.  Goldust knees him to the face and whips him into his corner.  Uso fights back but eats a spinebuster.  Star tags in and punches him in the gut.  Star covers Jimmy for a two.  Star locks in an armbar.  Jimmy fights out again.  He goes for a Samoan drop that is reversed into a neckbreaker.  Stardust stomps on Jimmy and hits some punches.  Jimmy hits a slap, but Stardust blindsides him.  Star then knocks down Jey.  Goldust tags in and attacks Jimmy.  Goldust holds the arm of Jimmy as Star stomps on his chest.

Jimmy hits a jawbreaker, but Stardust hits a prone kick to Jimmy’s head.  Uso fights out and tries to tag.  Goldust tags in and catches him.  Jimmy hits a dragonair and tags out.  Jey comes in like a house of fire and hits some big shots to Stardust.  Jey kicks the hamstring of Star and takes out the leg.  Jey pulls the leg down hard on the apron.  Jimmy jumps over the top rope and takes out Goldust.  Stardust takes back over and almost gets a three!  Jey is wrapped up in the ropes.  Stardust takes off his glove and slaps Jey.  Jimmy gets him out and takes a blow.  Goldust does a senton off the apron to knock out Jimmy.  Jey jumps over the top rope and takes out Stardust.  He rolls him in the ring and tries to hit a big splash.  Star gets his knees up and rolls up Jey for the three!

Winners:  Gold & Stardust

Dolph Ziggler is interviewed alongside R-Truth and he says he isn’t concerned with protecting his money-maker as much as Miz and he will win.

United States Championship

Sheamus (c) vs. Cesaro

They lock up and Sheamus pushes Cesaro into the ropes.  The ref separates them.  Cesaro is taken down by some mat moves.  Cesaro pushes Sheamus into the ropes and the ref separates them.  Cesaro slaps him and Sheamus unleashes.  Cesaro and Sheamus duel in the corner.  Sheamus whips Cesaro into the corner and hits a big knee strike.  He hits a running senton and kicks Cesaro in the back.  Sheamus hits a falling knee to the face of Cesaro.  Cesaro rolls to the apron and pulls Sheamus’ neck down on the rope.  Sheamus drops Cesaro to the ground and pounds away.  Cesaro and Sheamus spill over the top rope.  Sheamus hits some body blows to Cesaro and Cesaro responds accordingly.  Sheamus launches himself over the top rope and shoulder blocks Cesaro.  Sheamus pulls himself up the turnbuckle and Cesaro hits a big uppercut sending him over the top rope.  Cesaro pulls him in and hits a falling knee drop for one.  Cesaro locks in a headlock.  Sheamus fights out but gets locked in in a headlock.

Network problems and I resume with Sheamus hitting an Irish Curse backbreaker followed by another.  Cesaro hits a forearm to the face and climbs the turnbuckle.  Sheamus hits some blows to Cesaro’s face.  Sheamus grabs the arms of Cesaro and flips him over him onto Cesaro’s back.  Sheamus gets a two count!  Sheamus picks up Cesaro for some more Network problems.  Cool.

Back.  Sheamus picks him up, but C reverses and hits a lifted European Uppercut.  Cesaro has Sheamus by the arms in a tigerbomb position.  Sheamus fights out and hits a running high knee.  Sheamus hits a standing powerslam for two.  Sheamus pounds his chest and goes for the Brogue kick, but Cesaro dodges and rolls him up for two.  C goes for the Neutralizer, but Sheamus powers out.  Cesaro hits a unique powerslam for a two count!  Cesaro looks on in shock.  Cesaro slaps Sheamus several, several times.  Sheamus is getting angry.  Cesaro is hitting uppercuts like crazy and then a big boot!  Sheamus pushes him off and encourages him to bring it.  He does and Sheamus hits a Brogue Kick for three.

Winner:  Sheamus

Mark Henry and Big Show are getting hyped in the back.  Show tells Mark that he isn’t out there alone.  Two country stars from Florida Georgia Line are at ringside.

Intercontinental Championship

Dolph Ziggler (c) vs. The Miz

R-Ziggler and Damien Mizdow are at ringside.  They lock up and Miz flings Dolph off the ropes who shoulders Miz down.  Dolph hits the ropes and hits a big Lou Thesz press.  Miz gets flipped over Dolph’s shoulder.  Dolph hits about seven elbow drops, but Miz rolls out before eight.  Miz gets to the apron and pulls Dolph’s neck down on the rope.  Miz takes over and kicks Dolph in the head.  Miz pulls back on the head of Dolph.  Miz locks in a side headlock.  Dolph fights up and Miz hits a knee to the gut flipping Dolph to the mat.  Miz stomps on Dolph.  Miz pins for one.  Miz taunts and kicks at Dolph sparingly.  Dolph splashed the corner and is fired up.  Dolph goes for hte Fameasser, but Miz goes for a powerbomb.  Dolph rolls through for a rollup.  He gets a two count and Miz bails.  Dolph throws him into the barricade.  Dolph throws him back in and Mizdow pulls Dolph off the apron as the ref was too busy in the ring with Miz.  Mizdow argues with FL-GA Line.  They stand up and argue.  They push Damien and R-Ziggles chases him out of the arena.  Back in the ring and Dolph hits a superkick for a two count.  Dolph goes for the Fameasser then the SCF by Miz then Miz locks in the Figure-4 Leglock.  Dolph is trying not to tap out.  Dolph is screaming in agony!  Dolph almost gets counted down.  Dolph gets to the rope!  Miz breaks at the four.  Dolph hits a Fameasser for two.  Dolph is holding his knee.  Dolph is having trouble standing.  He summons Miz to get up and Mizdow comes back out.  Ziggler kicks him and Miz rolls him up for three.

Winner:  The Miz

Seth Rollins music hits directly after showing a package discussing Roman Reigns not being able to compete.

Seth gets a mic.  He says isn’t it amazing how life works?  One minute you’re on top of the world and the next you’re Roman Reigns.  He says his former partner was scheduled to fight him tonight.  He says emergency surgery isn’t a valid excuse to miss.  He says he’s going to give Roman a 10-Count to get out here.  The referee begins counting after ringing the bell.  The ref counts to 10 and Rollins wins via forfeit.  Rollins laughs and says nonononono.  He tells the ref to raise his hand and he does.  Rollins says he knows the people are disappointed.  He says he’s disappointed in Roman because he has no match tonight.  He said he is an opportunist and the Authority is all about providing opportunity.  Rollins issues an open challenge tonight.  Ambrose enters the arena in a taxi and rushes to the ring.  Ambrose rushes in and pounds at Rollins.  Ambrose clotheslines Rollins out of the ring and they brawl into the crowd.  Ambrose flips Rollins over his back onto the cement floor.  Security rushes in and separates the two thanks to HHH and Stephanie.  Ambrose takes out the security and launches himself onto Rollins!  Rollins is trying to slow him down.  Ambrose pounds away on the face of Rollins.  Ambrose clotheslines Rollins over the barricade and grabs a steel chair.  They move into the ring and the security catches Ambrose.  HHH gives them zip-ties to contain Ambrose.  Rollins gets out of the ring and is furious.

They show the panel with Renee Young, Booker T, Alex Riley, and Big Show.

Rusev vs. Mark Henry

They trade blows and Mark gets the upper hand and Rusev bails.  Rusev goes back in and they trade more.  Henry hits a headbutt and Rusev bails.  Henry clubs Rusev down off the mat.  Rusev is frustrated.  Rusev climbs back in cautiously.  Rusev gets the upper hand, but Henry hits a headbutt and throws Rusev towards the ropes.  Henry climbs out and Rusev rams Henry spine-first into the steel steps.  Henry flings Rusev off.  Rusev gets in and rams Henry into the corner.  Rusev hits Henry in the ribs and hits a headbutt.  Rusev stomps on Henry several times.  Rusev locks in a unique clutch on Mark and knees Henry before he can stand.  He locks it on tight and Henry tries to get up.  Hegets out and hits a short lariat.  Henry runs and splashes Rusev in the corner.  Rusev hits a spinning kick to take Henry down.  Rusev stomps on Henry’s back and looks for The Accolade.  He’s having trouble locking it in.  Henry flings Rusev off and Rusev kicks Henry in the mid-section.  Henry hits a World’s Strongest Slam.  Henry slow crawls to him, but Rusev rolls away and out of the ring.  Henry looks in pain as he reaches through the ropes and grabs Rusev.  Rusev kicks him right in the head.  Rusev gets to the apron and kicks him in the head again.  He gets in the ring, taunts, and runs for a third kick and floors him.  Rusev goes for The Accolade and locks it in.  Henry taps out.

Chris Jericho vs. Randy Orton

Jericho starts off by hitting some blows to Orton.  Orton takes some knees to his abdomen.  Orton hits some big uppercuts, headbutts, and stomps on Jericho in the corner.  Jericho chops him.  Orton shoulderblocks him down.  Jericho hits a dropkick and dumps Orton over.  Jericho hits a baseball slide knocking Orton down and slams Orton onto the announce table.  Jericho rolls Orton in and Orton kicks Jericho in the head and stomps on his hand.  Orton whips Jericho into the turnbuckle and clotheslines him there.  Jericho kicks Orton in the head and hits some chops.  Orton whips him into the corner and raises his foot to take down Orton.  Jericho climbs the turnbuckle, but Orton crotches him on it.  Orton punches him on the top rope.  Orton climbs up and hits a big superplex!  Jericho is writhing in pain.  Orton covers for two.  Orton locks in a headlock and cranks it up.  Jericho fights out and hits some nasty chops.  Jericho charges Orton in the corner, but Orton flings him off the turnbuckle and over the top rope.  Orton drops Jericho on the barricade back-first.  Orton flings Jericho back in and pins him for two.  Orton then flings him back out.  Orton hands JBL his hat and then drops Jericho on the table with a back body drop.  Orton throws him back in and pins him for two.  Orton locks in a headlock, but fights out.  Jericho hits some chops.  Jericho then hits some shots taking Orton to the mat.  Jericho gets a two count.  Jericho stomps on Orton in the bottom of the corner.  Jericho chops Orton and goes off the ropes, but Orton catches him with the scoop slam.  Jericho kicks Orton in the face.  He charges him in the corner, but is elevated to the apron.  He hits Orton and climbs up top for an axe handle.  Jericho hits a bulldog.  He goes for the lionsault, but Orton hits a vintage backbreaker.  Orton goes for the RKO, but Jericho pushes him off and hits a lionsault for two.  Orton catches Jericho on apron and goes for the draped DDT.  Jericho reverses into the Walls, but Orton powers out.  Orton flings him into the corner and stalks him.  Orton sets up The PUNT!

Orton is reversed for a rollup for two.  Jericho locks in the Walls of Jericho!  Orton is slow crawling to the ropes, but Jericho pulls him back to the center.  Orton rolls under and pushes Jericho outside.  Orton catches Jericho and hits the draped DDT.  The crowd is cheering Y2J but Orton is taunting.  Orton is setting up the RKO, but Jericho hits the Codebreaker!  Orton kicks out at two.  Jericho climbs the turnbuckle and is seething now!  Randy slowly gets up and turns around.  Jericho jumps off and eats an RKO.  Randy Orton gets the three count.

Winner:  Randy Orton

Brie Bella is interviewed in the back and she says that Nikki Bella and Karma have something in common.  That they’re both bitches.

WWE Divas Championship

Paige (c) vs. Nikki Bella vs. AJ Lee

Bella and Paige are bumping chests to begin.  AJ kicks both of them and dumps Paige out.  AJ hits a headscissors to Nikki, but then Nikki locks in a headlock.  Nikki is flinging AJ around.  AJ hits a jawbreaker to get out and rolls out.  Paige rushes in and gets an elbow to the face.  Nikki jumps off the turnbuckle for a splash.  Nikki then locks on an armbar and Paige rolls up Nikki for a two count.  AJ flings both Paige and Nikki into the barricade.  Paige and AJ climb in and Paige is pleading.  AJ doesn’t buy it and hits a big roundhouse.  AJ climbs the turnbuckle, but Nikki flings her off.  She pins her for a two.  Nikki pins her again for two.  Nikki begins throwing AJ’s head into the mat.  Paige flings Nikki out of the ring.  Paige helps up AJ with a hug, but AJ pushes her off.  Paige kicks AJ in the mid-section and begins hitting headbutts.  Paige pulls AJ to the apron and hits standing kneelifts.  Nikki blasts Paige off the apron and AJ rolls up Nikki for two.  Nikki hits a forearm to the face of AJ .  She gets a two.  AJ gets to the top rope and jumps off, but is caught by Nikki who tries to throw her but gets locked into the Black Widow.  Paige superkicks both ladies.  Paige sets AJ up on the top rope.  Nikki walks over and powerbombs Paige who suplexes AJ.  The ref begins counting them down.  AJ rolls out and Nikki locks in the torture rack on Nikki and falls to her knees.  Rack Attack.  AJ breaks it up and Nikki hits a forearm to AJ.  She begins slapping AJ and AJ pulls Nikki out to the floor.  AJ gets in and locks in the Black Widow!  Paige almost fights out, but AJ twists it in a weird angle causing Paige to tap!

Winner:  AJ Lee

WWE World Heavyweight Championship

Brock Lesnar (c) vs. John Cena

Brock rams Cena into the corner and begins ramming him furiously.  Brock goes for the German suplex, but Cena is holding on.  Cena hits two big clotheslines.  Cena hits an Attitude Adjustment for one!  Brock locks on the Kimura Lock!  Cena is crawling to the ropes and gets there.  Brock is counting and Brock lets go.  Brock hits a vicious knee.  Brock begins kicking Cena in the abdomen.  Brock hits some pummeling blows.  Brock hits the German suplex.  Cena is charging Brock in the corner, but Brock gets out.  Brock hits a nasty knee to the ribs.  Brock locks on the Kimura Lock again.  Cena gets his foot to the rope and Brock breaks it.  Brock stomps on Cena.  Cena punches Brock and is fighting back.  Brock ducks a clothesline and hits another German suplex for two.  Brock pulls him to the center of the ring Brock hits a suplex and rolls up for another and rolls up for a third.  He attempts to pin him, but his shoulders aren’t down.  Brock helps Cena up and hits a blow.  Brock rolls up Cena for two.  Brock rams Cena in the corner and again and again.  Cena hits some blows and Brock whips him into the ropes and hits a nasty clothesline.  Brock lets Cena get up and hits crushing blows.  Brock locks in the Kimura, but Cena is at the ropes.  Brock kicks Cena in the corner.  Brock then hits a belly-to-belly suplex for a two count.  He goes for another and it’s a two count.  Cena finally fights back and hits some blows.  Cena is hitting some good shots in the corner, but Brock is ramming Cena in the corner.  Brock just stands over Cena.  Brock whips Cena into the corner.  Cena is fighting back with shots left and right.  Cena goes for the AA, but Brock hits a German suplex.  Brock rams Cena in the corner twice.  Cena his the AA, but Brock kicks out right after two.  Cena gets the STF on!  Brock fights out and locks in the Kimura Lock.  Cena lifts Brock up and rams him into the corner.  Brock is still locked in and Brock rams him again breaking the hold.  Cena hits the AA and goes straight into the STF!  Brock looks exhausted!  He gets close to the ropes, but Cena pulls him back.  He gets to the ropes and Cena pulls him back! He hits Brock with the AA!   Rollins runs out and hits Cena with the briefcase twice.

He’s going to cash in!  But Cena stops it and beats down Rollins!  Rollins is running away now!  The bell never sounded so the cash-in didn’t happen.  Brock Lesnar then hits an F-5 on Cena.  Cena wins by DQ.
