Bellator welterweight champion Douglas Lima hasn’t defended his new title yet, but expects to do so in 2015.
“The Phenom” won the belt in April via TKO over Rick Hawn in April, but has been dealing with minor issues ever since.
“I think I will only fight again in January or February,” Lima told MMAFighting.com.
Lima, a two-time welterweight tournament winner in Bellator, is on a five-fight winning streak, all via KO or TKO.
