Cris Cyborg Ready To Make Bantamweight Debut On December 5, Readying Herself For Ronda Rousey?

News

Former women’s featherweight Strikeforce and current Invicta featherweight champion, Cris ‘Cyborg’ Justino will make her debut in a new weightclass on December 5 at Invicta 10.

While no opponent has been named for Cyborg at this time, it can be confirmed that the fighter will make her debut at bantamweight.

Justino, 29, currently has a 12-1 with 1 no-contest in professional mixed martial arts, but has never competed in the bantamweight division.

The news is of greatest interest to UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey who has been pining for a match with Cyborg, but that has always been circumvented by Justino’s previous refusal to switch dividions.

It appears that after thinking about it, Justino has decided to make the switch.
